What 3 devices can you not live without?

I am thinking about changing up my go to gadget list and am very interested to see what other women are using. Here's my list, please give feedback and share your ideas

1. Palm Treo 680 (I love the simplicity of Palm OS but I am getting really tired of the same old interface. I've been using it since 1998 and am starting to wonder what else is really out there)

2. 30 GB Zune - I know that I am one of 3 people in the world that use the Zune, but I like it even if the software SUCKS!!

3. Dell 600M - I've had this laptop for 2 years and am starting to wonder if a mac is really better for me. I like things simple!

My Sansa View! I listen to music (Naptster to Go) and books on tape and hand it to my daughter when we are driving so she can watch Buffie the Vampire Slayer instead of pestering me about when we are going to get there. Funny about the Zune! My husband uses one too and he is always cursing at the software.

I love my shiny red new Gateway laptop but I do experience Mac lust whenever I see someone with a Mac Air.

My Motorola Razr. I know it's not smart. But I still love it. I like a phone to be a great phone first. So I also carry a Palm TX.

It's funny you should ask this. I keep meaning to ask my readers what's in their purse. I asked a lot of geeky women--for my book--to open their purse and tell me what what in there. That was fun. They were all so hilarious about the gadgets, lipsticks, etc.

Maybe your husband and I can start a campaign to get rid of Zune Software. It slows my computer down to a crawl and is ugly to boot. I wish I could just use WMP.

I think you are right about the whole phone thing. I like the idea of a smart phone (it's made my purse a lot lighter for sure) but I've had 2 and they were never as good as the plain old cellphone I had. I don't know WHAT to do about that.

In a related note, I am obsessed with handbags. I love buying them, looking at them, carrying them. I can't wait to read your book find out what's in the purses of other nerds.

I'm going to put these in the can't live with 'em/can't live without 'em category.
1. My Blackberry -- can't see the screen; The "t" in T-Mobile stands for Tricked in to Buying this Plan but it helps me keep a small business from missing an opportunity every single day.
2. My Neat Receipts Scanner -- the only hope that you'll ever hear from me again is to scan your card. Neat Receipts can figure out where everything goes in the database which blows my mind.
3. IMotion docking station -- for me an iPod is nothing if you can't share

Here's my gadget list. You'd think I'd love my Blackberry but I don't. Partly because it's for "work" and it's a REALLY old and ancient model. I only look at it for work emails...ickly.

1. Sidekick - just replaced my hot pink RAZR (yeah, just getting around to stepping up) and I created a special skin (check out skinit.com) It's pink with black and hot pink hearts - so girlie! I like the Tmobile Sidekick, easy to use keyboard and I can text my sister and brother ALL THE TIME (LOL). I can surf the web, receive/send pictures and play games when I'm bored.

2. Dell PC - whether it be my desktop or laptop (for work), I've got to be connected no matter where I am. I think it's time to upgrade the home PC, might opt for a laptop (grin).

3. IPOD - I've never been one for apple products but I love my IPOD. It's a pretty teal color and hold 8 Gigs of music, pictures, I just put it on and zone out, no matter what I'm doing it really helps me concentrate.

The three I could not live without are:
1. My Motorola Razr. It is pink, of course. Very reliable, very pocket-sized.
2. My Palm Treo 700. I do not use the telephone part, I use my Razr. But, the Palm keeps me organized. I love it. I wish they made Palm's that did not have the telephone function, as the telephone part of mine is crappy compared to my Razr (I did try it).
3. My netbook. This should have been first and foremost, as the other two (my Razr and Palm) are incorporated into it. I love my Netbook! My purse-sized computer! Now to just find a flashy, classy slip-cover for it.

I realize the original post is old but since I'm new here I thought I'd post a response anyway...

#1 - iPhone...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. Phone, calendar, iPod, weather, email, easy to find calculator, books, Scrabble, an app for anything you can imagine...it doesn't get any better than this!

#2 - Dell inspiron 1420 - Pretty happy w/ this laptop. I went from a 15" screen to a 14" thinking it would be a little more portable but I like that it's not too small - I can type comfortably and the screen is still nice.

#3 - 30GB iPod - I could really use one with a lot more space but this is still my first iPod from 2 1/2 years ago...I'm trying to practice contentment! ;o)
